As the Business Lead - Salon Services at Urban Company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, you will play a crucial role in owning the end-to-end P&L for the Salon vertical. Your responsibilities will encompass a mix of strong business acumen, operational excellence, partner management, service quality control, and customer experience ownership to drive growth and ensure a 5-star service experience for customers across the region. **Key Responsibilities:** - **P&L Ownership & Growth** - Own revenue, margins, contribution profits, and expansion targets for the Salon vertical. - Build monthly/quarterly business plans, pricing strategy, and promo levers. - Identify new service lines/extensions and lead geo-expansion. - **Supply Acquisition & Partner Management** - Scale high-quality partner supply (technicians/beauticians) across UAE. - Define onboarding standards, training, certification, and performance benchmarks. - Monitor supply quality, retention, earning satisfaction, and compliance. - **Service Quality & Customer Experience** - Maintain Urban Company's 5-star customer experience standards. - Drive NPS, repeat usage, ratings, SLA adherence, and issue resolution. - Partner with QA, Training, and Ops teams to reduce service defects. - **Operations Excellence** - Streamline fulfillment, slot availability, turnaround time, and inventory readiness. - Build SOPs for field operations, partner allocation, quality audits, and safety standards. - Implement tech & automation solutions to enhance efficiency. - **Category Marketing & Consumer Growth** - Own the salon category brand positioning and marketing calendar with central teams. - Plan digital campaigns, seasonal pushes, influencer/affiliate partnerships. - Define customer lifecycle journeys to increase repeats and retention. - **Data-Led Decision Making** - Track daily business metrics: demand, conversion, cancellations, utilization, CSAT. - Identify revenue leakages and drive productivity improvements. - Run experimentation and A/B tests to improve funnels and economics. **Qualifications Required:** - 5-10 years of experience in category/business/operations leadership roles in e-commerce, grooming/beauty services, FMCG, or consumer internet. - Experience managing large field workforce or partner supply is highly beneficial. - Strong analytical, P&L management, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and execution skills. - UAE market experience preferred; GCC experience is a plus. - Customer-first mindset, quality-obsessed, and bias for action.
