Business Intelligence Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop BI Solutions:

  Build interactive dashboards, visualizations, and reports using

  Power BI

  or equivalent tools (e.g., Tableau).

• Data Engineering:

  Design, maintain, and optimize

  data models

  and

  data pipelines

  , ensuring integrity, scalability, and performance.

• Advanced Scripting:

  Write complex

  SQL queries

  and leverage

  M Script (Power Query)

  to transform and clean data.

• Power Platform Integration:

  Work across

  Power Apps

  ,

  Copilot Studio

  , and

  Microsoft Fabric

  for comprehensive business solutions.

• Business Translation:

  Understand business needs—especially in

  multifamily real estate

  —and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

• User Training & Adoption:

  Conduct training sessions and support business users to increase adoption of BI tools.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:

  Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, iterate solutions, and support strategic decision-making.

• Documentation & Governance:

  Document processes, models, and dashboards while ensuring

  data quality

  and compliance with

  data governance

  practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience:

  Minimum

  3 years

  of hands-on BI development experience with SQL, Power BI, and data modeling.

• Tools Proficiency:

  Strong command of

  Power BI

  ,

  SQL

  , and

  Power Platform

  components (Power Apps, Copilot Studio, Fabric). Tableau knowledge is a plus.

• Business Acumen:

  Experience or familiarity with

  multifamily real estate

  and related domains.

• Soft Skills:

  Excellent communication skills to convey complex insights clearly and train non-technical stakeholders.

• Mindset:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with

  LIHTC

  (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) projects.
• Exposure to

  data governance

  and

  data hygiene

  best practices.
• Proven ability to lead or mentor junior developers in a BI environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
