Role Overview

Director of Business – Travel & Holidays

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Growth

• Define and drive the business strategy for the Travel & Holidays category in alignment with company goals.
• Build and own the P&L, including revenue, margins, and unit economics.
• Identify new business opportunities, product-market fit, and category expansion strategies.

Business Development & Partnerships

• Build and manage partnerships with travel service providers, aggregators, and hospitality partners.
• Negotiate commercial terms, alliances, and co-marketing partnerships to drive growth and differentiation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Operations to enhance customer experience and partner value.

Operations & Execution

• Build a scalable operational model to deliver seamless booking and customer journeys.
• Implement data-driven processes to track KPIs and ensure operational efficiency.
• Drive pricing, promotions, and assortment strategy for optimal performance.

Team Leadership

• Build and lead a high-performing business and operations team.
• Set performance goals, mentor team members, and foster a culture of ownership and innovation.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 8–12 years of experience in business leadership roles, preferably in consumer tech, online travel, or digital marketplaces.
• Proven Track Record: Experience scaling a business vertical or category, managing P&L, and driving multi-channel growth.
• Industry Understanding: Deep knowledge of the travel, holidays, or hospitality ecosystem, including supply-side and customer behavior insights.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong data orientation with experience in business planning, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Education: MBA or equivalent degree from a top-tier institute preferred
