Business Excellence Leader

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Business Excellence Leader is a strategic role within LAPP India, responsible for driving continuous improvement and business and operational excellence across all functions. Reporting directly to CFO, the Business Excellence Leader is tasked with developing and implementing strategies to improve and optimize business processes/systems, increase efficiency, and enhance overall performance.

Role & responsibilities

Collaborative Culture of Business Excellence:

- Developing a comprehensive business excellence strategy in alignment with the organization's goals
and objectives

- Establishing and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement within the organization

- Improvement of business/system processes using lean thinking

- Establish lean culture in production, warehouse & logistics and administration

- Change management to adopt to Global Template Processes & Enterprise Architecture by
identifying and eliminating non value add processes/steps/systems in current business processes

- Establish Future State processes that promotes lean management, least waste and optimizing
efficiency and productivity of process owners

- Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on business excellence initiatives

- Identifying and implementing best practices to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and standardization

- Collaborating with senior leadership to set goals and objectives for business excellence initiatives

- Collaborating with external partners and stakeholders to benchmark best practices and identify opportunities for improvement

Training and Development:

- Facilitating training and development programs to build a culture of continuous improvement
within the organization

- Providing coaching and training to employees on improvement techniques and tools

- Conduct workshops/Kaizens to document core processes and identify future state processes

Performance KPIs, measurement and monitoring:

- Conducting regular performance evaluations and metrics analysis to identify areas for improvement

- Developing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and success

- Implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes and eliminate waste

- Apply Lean principles in evaluating processes that need re-engineering to meet future target
processes

- Develop and carry out re-engineering plans, set performance standard to ensure successful
transitions of business processes

- Monitoring and reporting on progress towards achieving operational excellence goals

- Conduct workshops to document current core processes and identify the future Global Template
target processes, lead business process mapping exercises- pre-requisite for migration to S4/Hana

- Global alignment of ideas within processes and communities

Preferred candidate profile

BE/B-Tech in any discipline preferably Industrial Engineering, MBA or Bachelor Degree in Project Management

Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience incl. 3+ year of Corporate Lean consulting.

5 to 6 years of experience in implementing process improvements including working in operational environments and leading operational teams

Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from a reputed training program like American Society of Quality (ASQ) or equivalent, VSM, Kanban, Visual management & other Lean tools

Profound knowledge in LEAN Systems & Administration and Proficiency in lean culture development and lean tool implementation

Process knowledge: Demand to Supply, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay

Experience in process documentation, project/work package management tools like MS Visio, Altus, Jira/Confluence, Aeneis etc.,

Knowledge of SAP ECC 6/CRM etc.,

Strong knowledge of SAP S4 Hana and have extensive work experience in modules like SD, PP, APO etc
