Abou the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Upwork Bidder who can generate qualified leads and convert opportunities for non-Salesforce technology services across global clients.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience bidding on Upwork and similar freelance platforms, understanding client requirements, drafting strong proposals, and coordinating with internal teams to win projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Generation & Bidding
  2. Identify relevant projects on Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
  3. Submit high-quality proposals tailored to client requirements.
  4. Write convincing cover letters, scope summaries, and project breakdowns.
  5. Maintain a high response and conversion rate.
  6. Client Communication
  7. Communicate with potential clients through Upwork chat, video calls, or emails.
  8. Understand client needs, pain points, timelines, budget, and technical requirements.
  9. Schedule meetings between clients and internal technical teams.
  10. Requirement Analysis
  11. Analyze RFPs and client documents to prepare accurate estimates and project scopes.
  12. Coordinate with developers, designers, and project managers to clarify deliverables.
  13. Business Development & Coordination
  14. Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals, presentations, and demos.
  15. Follow up aggressively with clients to close deals.
  16. Maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities and track progress.
  17. Market Research & Strategy
  18. Research trending technologies, client personas, and global IT outsourcing demands.
  19. Suggest new bidding strategies to increase win rates.
  20. Help expand service offerings across multiple non-Salesforce tech stacks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  1. Proven experience as an Upwork Bidder, Business Development Executive, or Pre-Sales Consultant.
  2. Strong understanding of non-Salesforce tech stacks:
  3. MEAN / MERN / MEVN
  4. LAMP / PHP
  5. Python, Node.js
  6. React, Vue.js
  7. Mobile Application (Native)
  8. DevOps, AWS, Azure, GCP
  9. AI/ML Services
  10. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  11. Ability to understand technical requirements and draft professional proposals.
  12. Strong negotiation and client-handling skills.
  13. Experience working with international clients (US, UK, EU, Middle East preferred).
  14. Goal-oriented, self-driven, and proactive in closing deals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in IT consulting or a software development agency.
  • Ability to understand project estimation, timelines, and resource planning.
  • Ability to create pitch decks, business presentations, and sales collateral.
