Title: Business Development Specialist

Location: Hebbal, Bengaluru, KA

Employment Type: Fulltime with AXISCADES

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development

Generate leads for new clients in Indian Aero market and follow through till purchase order

Collaborate with pre-sales and proposal teams to develop customized manufacturing engineering solutions.

Contribute to proposal writing, RFQ responses, and commercial negotiations.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customer strategies and aerospace market trends.

Account Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing aerospace customers (OEMs, Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers).

Own the end-to-end responsibility of account planning, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.

Identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts and upsell/cross-sell engineering services.

Customer Relationship Management

Act as the main liaison between the customer and internal technical/delivery teams.

Manage regular technical and business review meetings with customers.

Resolve client concerns and escalate issues proactively to ensure timely resolution.

Project Oversight

Track delivery performance and milestones in collaboration with project managers.

Ensure project scope, timelines, and quality are aligned with customer expectations.

Support in resource planning and delivery ramp-up/down activities based on account pipeline.

Reporting and Documentation

Maintain detailed records of client communications, feedback, and action plans.

Provide regular reports to leadership on account health, revenue forecasts, and customer feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Aerospace ) or Business.

5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles within aerospace manufacturing or engineering services.

Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, such as tooling, jigs & fixtures, CNC/NC programming, assembly line support, MRO, etc.

Experience working with Global aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers (Airbus, Boeing, Safran, Spirit Aero, Collins, etc.)

Experience working with Indian aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers (Tata, Mahindra, Godrej etc)

Excellent English communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Exposure in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), MS Office, and project collaboration tools.

Knowledge of AS9100, PPAP, or other aerospace quality standards.

Exposure to digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, or MES tools is a plus.
