Job Title: Business Development & Sales Manager

Farmer’s Daughter is a premium plant-protein and functional foods brand focused on clean-label, nutrient-rich products made with natural Indian ingredients. We are redefining wellness with SKUs and functional breakfast mixes.

We are at the launch stage with an omni-channel strategy (D2C + B2B + Modern Trade) and looking for our first sales hire to build our market presence.

Role Overview

As our first sales hire, you will drive early revenue generation and partnerships, set up initial distribution channels, and shape our go-to-market strategy. This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role where you will work closely with the founding team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead market entry and partnerships with health/wellness stores, modern trade, and cafés.
• Manage and grow e-commerce sales across Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, and our D2C platform.
• Develop and execute sampling, promotions, and BTL activities to increase brand awareness.
• Negotiate and close B2B opportunities (corporate wellness, gyms, co-working spaces, institutional buyers).
• Collect market intelligence and customer feedback to refine SKUs and pricing.
• Track sales metrics, forecast demand, and report weekly to the leadership team.

Who We’re Looking For

• 3–6 years of experience in FMCG/Health Foods/Nutrition category sales.
• Proven track record in e-commerce and/or modern trade channel development.
• Startup or early-stage brand experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and on-ground sales skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: self-starter, adaptable, and driven by results.
