Business Development

Peregrine Tours and Travels is seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Executive for its Chennai branch. The role focuses on expanding corporate client base, driving revenue growth through sales and marketing activities, and building a reliable vendor network for cab operations. Ideal for individuals with a passion for B2B sales and strong negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:Sales & Marketing:

• Identify and approach potential corporate clients for transportation and mobility services.
• Generate leads through field visits, calls, networking, and digital platforms.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue and client acquisition targets.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.

Vendor Acquisition & Management:

• Identify and onboard quality cab operators and driver partners to meet operational demands.
• Negotiate competitive rates and service terms with vendors.
• Conduct vendor evaluations and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and service level agreements (SLAs).

Administrative & Reporting:

• Maintain updated records of client and vendor interactions using CRM tools or Excel.
• Provide daily/weekly sales reports to the branch head.
• Coordinate with the operations team for smooth service delivery.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in business development, preferably in the travel/transportation sector.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and Tamil.
• Knowledge of the Chennai corporate market is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
