Peregrine Tours and Travels is seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Executive for its Chennai branch. The role focuses on expanding corporate client base, driving revenue growth through sales and marketing activities, and building a reliable vendor network for cab operations. Ideal for individuals with a passion for B2B sales and strong negotiation skills. Key Responsibilities:Sales & Marketing: Identify and approach potential corporate clients for transportation and mobility services. Generate leads through field visits, calls, networking, and digital platforms. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals. Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue and client acquisition targets. Maintain client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events. Vendor Acquisition & Management: Identify and onboard quality cab operators and driver partners to meet operational demands. Negotiate competitive rates and service terms with vendors. Conduct vendor evaluations and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Ensure compliance with company standards and service level agreements (SLAs). Administrative & Reporting: Maintain updated records of client and vendor interactions using CRM tools or Excel. Provide daily/weekly sales reports to the branch head. Coordinate with the operations team for smooth service delivery. Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in business development, preferably in the travel/transportation sector. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English and Tamil. Knowledge of the Chennai corporate market is an added advantage. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. Work Conditions: Field-oriented role with frequent travel within Chennai. Full-time position with performance-based incentives.
