Business Development & Operations Executive

You are a dynamic consultancy startup in Ahmedabad, focusing on integrated logistics solutions. As the operations are being established, you are seeking a proactive and versatile Business Development & Operations Executive to drive client acquisition and manage initial operational setups. Your responsibilities will include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in logistics, packaging, and automotive sectors. You will need to build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions. Developing and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals, as well as negotiating contracts and agreements to secure new business, will be key aspects of your role. In terms of operational setup and management, you will be responsible for overseeing the initial setup of logistics operations, including vendor selection and coordination. Managing day-to-day operational activities, ensuring efficiency, and compliance with company standards are crucial. You will also need to monitor and evaluate operational performance, implementing improvements as necessary, and collaborate with internal teams to align operational strategies with business objectives. Collaboration with the HR & Admin Executive to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and partners will be essential. Additionally, you will support the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. The ideal candidate should have at least 3-5 years of experience in business development and operations management, preferably in logistics, packaging, or automotive industries. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is required. Experience at LEAP India or similar large logistics companies is highly desirable. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are important, along with familiarity with logistics operations and supply chain management. Problem-solving abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software are also necessary.
