Business Development Officer

As a Business Development Manager at SOLX Green Energy, you will play a key role in expanding our presence in northern Kerala. With a strong focus on providing premium Solar Rooftop Solutions, SOLX has successfully completed over 100 projects in the last 5 years. Your responsibilities will include identifying potential prospects, selling our high-quality solar photovoltaic solutions, and establishing relationships with Channel Partners to generate leads. Your role will involve business development activities such as cold calling, arranging online or in-person presentations and demos, as well as handling all necessary documentation including proposal creation and contract drafting. Additionally, you should be prepared to undertake any other duties as required to support the growth of the business. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a university degree, engineering degree, or diploma (preferably in Electrical Engineering), with an MBA being an added advantage. You should have 1-3 years of experience in similar sales roles within reputable rooftop solar installation companies and be proficient in B2C sales related to solar photovoltaic solutions, solar rooftop solutions, or green energy products. Strong communication and sales skills are essential, along with a good network of contacts in the industry. Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel, as well as fluency in English and Malayalam, are required for this role.
