Job Description

Business Development Officer (BDO)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively generate and follow up on leads through various sources (digital campaigns, walk-ins, referrals, etc.)
  • Counsel prospective students about courses and career opportunities.
  • Convert leads into admissions by guiding students through the enrolment process.
  • Achieve monthly targets for admissions and lead conversion.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, meetings, and client interactions in CRM.
  • Participate in marketing events, seminars, and college visits for lead generation.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to provide feedback on campaign quality.
  • Provide post-admission support and ensure student satisfaction.
  • Report daily/weekly progress to the Branch Manager/BDM.

Requirements:


  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, admissions, or counselling (preferably in the education sector).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Target-oriented with a proactive approach.
  • Language Proficiency: English and Malayalam (mandatory).
