Job Description

The Business Development Officer (BDO) – Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying potential clients, developing strong business relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role requires a proactive approach to lead generation, client acquisition, and maintaining long-term customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
  • Generate leads through various channels (cold calling, networking, referrals, digital platforms, etc.).
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Understand customer needs and propose appropriate solutions/services.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support business growth.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and maintain customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales/business development
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and client-handling abilities.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
