Position Overview

Business Development Manager/Director

automation, robotics, and intralogistics systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Sales

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in

      AGV, AMR, robotics, and intelligent warehousing solutions

      .
    • Develop and execute

      go-to-market strategies

      for target industries (automotive, e-commerce, 3PL, FMCG, manufacturing, etc.).
    • Build and maintain strong

      C-level and decision-maker relationships

      to drive solution adoption.
    • Prepare and deliver technical & commercial proposals, tenders, and RFP responses.
  • Market Strategy & Growth

    • Conduct

      market research and competitive analysis

      to identify trends, emerging technologies, and customer pain points.
    • Define

      pricing, positioning, and value proposition

      for products and services.
    • Drive

      strategic partnerships

      with system integrators, OEMs, technology partners, and channel partners.
  • Customer Engagement & Solutioning

    • Collaborate with technical and product teams to design

      customized AGV/AMR solutions

      tailored to client needs.
    • Act as a

      trusted advisor

      for customers on warehouse automation and robotics.
    • Lead customer presentations, demos, and site visits.
  • Leadership & Team Development (For Director Role)

    • Build, mentor, and lead a

      high-performing BD/Sales team

      .
    • Define

      sales targets, KPIs, and growth objectives

      and ensure achievement.
    • Report progress, forecasts, and market insights to leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in

    Engineering, Robotics, Automation, or related field

    ; MBA preferred.
  • 815+ years of

    business development / sales experience

    in industrial automation, robotics, warehousing, or logistics sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of

    AGV/AMR systems, intralogistics automation, WMS/WCS, conveyors, and material handling solutions

    .
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in B2B/enterprise solutions.
  • Excellent skills in

    consultative selling, contract negotiation, and key account management

    .
  • Strong

    network in automotive, e-commerce, FMCG, logistics, or warehousing industries

    .
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and industry events.
