Job Description

Role Overview As a Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in driving business growth, fostering strategic partnerships, and expanding the company's market presence. Your role will involve engaging with educational institutions, government agencies, and industry stakeholders to promote drone solutions and services. Key Responsibilities Strategic Partnerships : Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, government bodies, and industry partners, to promote drone solutions. Sales Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, setting clear objectives and providing guidance to achieve sales targets. Market Expansion : Identify and pursue new business opportunities in untapped markets, including Tier II and III cities, to expand customer base. Client Engagement : Conduct presentations and demonstrations of drone technology to potential clients, addressing their specific needs and requirements. Contract Negotiation : Oversee the negotiation and execution of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and contracts with educational institutions and other partners. Performance Monitoring : Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Required Qualifications Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Experience : Minimum of 4 years in business development or sales, preferably in the drone or technology sector. Skills : Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Languages : Fluency in English proficiency in additional languages is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Industry Knowledge : Experience in the drone, aerospace, or technology sectors. Leadership Experience : Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team. Geographical Knowledge : Familiarity with markets in Tier II and III cities across India. Compensation Salary : Competitive, commensurate with experience. Benefits : Performance-based incentives.
