Key

Business Growth & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in corporate events, brand activations, conferences, exhibitions, weddings, and social events
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, partnerships, and industry events
  • Pitch event concepts, proposals, and budgets to prospective clients
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed revenue targets

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, sponsors, and partners
  • Act as the primary point of contact during the pre-sales and onboarding phase
  • Understand client objectives and translate them into event solutions

Market Research & Strategy

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging event formats
  • Identify new markets, verticals, and partnership opportunities
  • Contribute to sales strategy, pricing models, and go-to-market plans

Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with event operations, creative, production, and finance teams
  • Ensure seamless handover from sales to execution teams
  • Support post-event reviews, upselling, and repeat business

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within event management, hospitality, or experiential marketing
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to conceptualize event ideas and present compelling proposals
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities
  • Target-oriented mindset with strong closing skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and proposal documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field
  • Existing industry contacts and vendor network
  • Experience handling corporate and large-scale events
