Job Description

We are seeking a high-energy Business Development professional (hunter profile) with deep experience in Product Engineering, Embedded R&D, Digital Platforms, Industrial IoT, and Technology Services. You will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition, expanding into target OEM accounts, and closing high-value engineering programs by influencing CTOs, VPs Engineering, Product Owners, R&D Directors, and Technology Leaders.
Core Responsibilities
A. New Business Acquisition (Primary Focus)
- Identify, prospect, and convert new OEM, industrial, technology, and ISV accounts.
- Execute a hunting strategy across target segments.
- Build high-value pipeline via outreach, LinkedIn, events.
- Engage CXO-level and R&D leadership.
B. Sales Strategy & Territory Growth
- Create account/territory plans.
- Maintain 3-4 pipeline.
- Identify whitespace opportunities.
C. Solution Positioning & Value Selling
- Understand product roadmaps and engineering gaps.
- Position offerings: Embedded, Hardware, Cloud, IoT, AI/ML, Modernization.
- Conduct discovery sessions.
D. Proposal, Negotiation & Closure
- Lead SOW, pricing, negotiation.
- Manage procurement & legal cycles.
E. GTM Execution
- Support events, campaigns, industry conferences.
- Convert MQLs to SQLs.
F. CRM & Reporting
- Maintain CRM accuracy and weekly reporting.
Required Skills & BD Competencies
- Hunter mindset with proven new account wins.
- Strong consultative & solution selling.
- Experience engaging CTOs, VPs, R&D Directors.
- Understanding of embedded, digital, IoT, cloud.
- Excellent communication & deal-closing abilities.
Education
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering (ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechanical, Mechatronics).
- MBA preferred.
Preferred Background
- Experience in PES/ER&D sales.
- Experience with industrial / automation / electronics OEMs.
- Exposure to engineering services companies.
