About the Role

Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Sales

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across relevant sectors
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to onboarding
  • Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, demos, and capability presentations
  • Respond to RFPs/RFQs and negotiate commercial terms

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Serve as primary point of contact for key clients and prospects
  • Understand client needs and collaborate internally to deliver tailored solutions
  • Conduct regular client review meetings and expansion pitches

Market & Competitor Intelligence

  • Conduct market mapping to identify key accounts and market trends
  • Track competitor offerings, pricing benchmarks, and industry developments
  • Maintain updated sales pipeline and reporting metrics

Collaboration & Internal Engagement

  • Work closely with research, operations, and leadership teams for seamless project execution
  • Provide feedback to product/operations teams on client expectations and market needs
  • Mentor and guide junior BD executives, if applicable

Key Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field

Experience

  • 710 years of experience in business development or B2B& B2C sales
  • Prior experience in

    market research Company

    preferred
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving business pipelines

Skills

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand and pitch solutions based on client needs
  • Relationship-building and stakeholder management
  • Analytical problem-solving and market awareness
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot / Salesforce / Zoho), MS Office, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
