Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) with strong experience in Domestic IT Recruitment & Staffing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, driving revenue, and coordinating with internal recruitment teams to ensure timely delivery of candidates.

This role demands a deep understanding of Indian IT hiring, VMS/Direct Client environments, rate negotiations, and strong relationship-building skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Acquisition & Business Growth

  • Identify, target, and acquire new clients in the Indian IT staffing market.
  • Generate business through direct clients, system integrators, and MSP/VMS models.
  • Drive revenue growth by pitching staffing solutions (contract, C2H, permanent).
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to close deals.

Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with client hiring managers.
  • Understand client hiring pipelines, forecast demand, and ensure continuous business flow.
  • Handle escalations, delivery challenges, and ensure client satisfaction.

Recruitment Delivery Coordination

  • Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure timely submission of quality profiles.
  • Communicate job requirements clearly and bridge gaps between client expectations and delivery.
  • Monitor submission-to-interview ratios and improve delivery KPIs.

Market Research & Strategic Planning

  • Stay updated on trends in Indian IT hiring, skill demand, and market rates.
  • Identify opportunities for account mining, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly business reports and revenue projections.

Negotiation & Compliance

  • Handle rate negotiations with clients and candidates.
  • Ensure agreements, contracts, and SLAs are in place and compliant.
  • Maintain documentation and adhere to organizational sales processes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in Domestic IT Staffing business development.
  • Proven experience working with Direct Clients, Tier-1 Vendors, and System Integrators in India.
  • Strong understanding of IT skills, technologies, and hiring trends.
  • Experience sourcing business for Contract Staffing, C2H, and Permanent hiring.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a target-driven environment with strong follow-up discipline.
  • Should have an established client network and ability to bring business quickly.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Prior experience with vendor management systems (VMS) like Beeline, Fieldglass, etc.
  • Existing client relationships in domains like BFSI, Telecom, E-commerce, Product companies, or Consulting.
  • Knowledge of margins, payouts, invoicing, and recruitment compliance.
