Job Description

1. Strategic Marketing & Planning

  • Develop annual and quarterly marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Design and execute campaigns for festivals, wedding seasons, product launches, and promotions.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer preferences, competitor activities, and emerging jewellery trends.
  • Manage marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution of campaigns.

2. Brand Management

  • Maintain and enhance the premium brand image of Dhamu Chettiar Nagai Maaligai.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging, visual identity, and customer experience across all platforms.
  • Build strong customer loyalty through storytelling, heritage-based branding, and trust-driven campaigns.

3. Retail & Traditional Marketing

  • Plan in-store promotional activities, visual merchandising, and showroom events.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to design festive and seasonal offers.
  • Handle local advertising (print media, outdoor hoardings, FM radio, theatre ads, and partnerships with wedding planners).
  • Organize jewellery exhibitions, roadshows, and CSR events to increase footfall.

4. Digital Marketing (Detailed Focus)

  • Website & SEO

    : Manage the official website, update collections, optimize product descriptions, and ensure search engine visibility.
  • Social Media Marketing

    : Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms (e.g., Reels, Shorts). Plan festive campaigns, contests, and influencer collaborations.
  • Paid Ads

    : Run targeted ads on Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, and YouTube to attract potential buyers.
  • Content Marketing

    : Curate blogs, customer stories, jewellery care tips, and video content showcasing craftsmanship.
  • Email & WhatsApp Marketing

    : Build and manage customer databases, send newsletters, personalized offers, and festive greetings.
  • E-commerce & Online Sales

    : Coordinate with online jewellery platforms or in-house e-commerce portals to increase digital sales.
  • Analytics & Insights

    : Track campaign performance using Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc., and optimize based on ROI.

5. Customer Engagement & CRM

  • Enhance customer relationship programs through loyalty cards, referral bonuses, and VIP privileges.
  • Conduct surveys and feedback sessions to improve service quality.
  • Develop digital loyalty programs to engage repeat customers.

6. Team Management & Coordination

  • Lead the marketing team, vendors, photographers, graphic designers, and digital partners.
  • Train showroom staff on new campaigns, promotions, and digital engagement techniques.
  • Coordinate with jewellery designers, production, and sales teams for product promotions.
