Role Overview

Business Development Manager

Your mission:

Build strategic relationships with organisations for Cloud Counselages B2B offerings

CRO or senior leadership

corporate engagement, partnership, and client acquisition

B2C sales activities

high-ownership, growth-oriented role

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Market Development

  • Research and identify potential partner companies across industries
  • Build and manage a strong B2B sales pipeline through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking
  • Generate qualified leads and set up discovery meetings for the CRO or Leadership Team

2. Partnership Development

  • Present Cloud Counselages B2B offerings effectively to senior leadership teams of client companies
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships to drive partnerships and sponsorships
  • Represent the company in meetings and act as the

    face of Cloud

    Counselage in your assigned city

3. On-Ground Business Development

  • Conduct on-site meetings and visits to potential client offices or partner events
  • Fix and coordinate local meetings for the CRO and leadership team
  • Identify local networking or business events for client prospecting

4. Collaboration & Reporting

  • Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Operations, and HR) to align messaging and partnership proposals
  • Maintain accurate data and progress in the company CRM
  • Provide regular updates and insights to the CRO / Leadership

5. B2C Sales Support (As Required)

  • Assist in lead generation, outreach, and conversions for B2C programs
  • Support local roadshows, expos, and community events that attract student or professional participation

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of qualified company leads generated
  • Number of meetings fixed and executed
  • Number and value of partnerships closed
  • Revenue contribution and conversion ratio
  • City-level engagement activity (events, visits, presentations)

Eligibility Criteria

  • 1-5 years

    of experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales, or Partnerships
  • Proven track record in B2B partnership development
  • Experience in

    EdTech, HRTech, Consulting

    sector preferred
  • Education:

    Diploma / Bachelors / Masters in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Familiarity with platforms such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Google Workspace, and basic CRM tools.
  • Working laptop and stable internet connection (mandatory)
  • Membership of the Industry Academia Community (IAC)
