Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to lead student admissions growth, institutional partnerships, and market expansion for our Fire & Safety Institute in Kerala. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in educational marketing, strategic planning, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective business development and marketing strategies to increase student admissions
  • Identify new market opportunities, institutional tie-ups, corporate collaborations, and government projects
  • Manage and lead the admissions and marketing team to achieve monthly and annual targets
  • Plan and execute promotional activities such as seminars, workshops, school/college visits, and career fairs
  • Build strong relationships with training partners, placement agencies, and industry stakeholders
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends in the Fire & Safety and skill development sector
  • Prepare reports on admissions performance, revenue generation, and market penetration
  • Coordinate with academic and training departments to align offerings with market demand
  • Ensure high-quality student counselings and conversion processes
  • Represent the institute at exhibitions, conferences, and official meetings

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • MBA (Marketing / Sales / Business Development or equivalent specialisation)
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in business development or marketing, preferably in education, training, or Fire & Safety institutes
  • Strong understanding of the Kerala education and skill development market
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead teams and work with targets
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital marketing basics
  • Fluency in English and Malayalam
