Summary:

Business Development Manager – IT Sales


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate high-quality leads through

    Upwork, LinkedIn, email campaigns

    , and other B2B channels.
  • Create and manage

    Upwork proposals

    , track bidding performance, and improve win rates.
  • Use

    LinkedIn Sales Navigator

    and other tools to find and connect with decision-makers.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to target international clients (US, UK, Canada, etc.).
  • Conduct discovery calls, understand client needs, and present tailored IT solutions.
  • Prepare and present proposals, pitch decks, and service offerings.
  • Collaborate with delivery and technical teams for proposal development and execution.
  • Maintain client relationships for repeat business and referrals.
  • Regularly update the CRM and track all interactions, leads, and opportunities.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in

    IT sales

    , specifically focused on

    lead generation

    .
  • Expertise in

    Upwork bidding

    , client handling, and Upwork profile optimization.
  • Strong experience using

    LinkedIn (especially Sales Navigator)

    for B2B lead generation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with international clients, particularly in the US and UK markets.
  • Ability to work independently and meet/exceed targets.


Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or Salesforce.
  • Understanding of digital marketing, web/app development, or software services.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
