About the Role

Edit Lobby is seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development & Growth Manager to support the expansion of our business lines, strengthen internal processes, and lead initiatives that enhance overall business performance. You will work closely with the Founders and COO, contributing to decision-making, shaping strategy, and driving projects that accelerate growth and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Growth

  • Identify and expand new business opportunities and revenue streams.
  • Build and execute market and service expansion strategies.
  • Establish strategic partnerships across agencies, creators, and industry stakeholders.
  • Analyse business performance and recommend growth-focused improvements.

Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Play an authoritative, decision-driven role with the ability to take bold strategic actions.
  • Work with Founders and COO on core organizational strategies.

Process Optimization & Operational Efficiency

  • Review existing processes and enhance workflow effectiveness.
  • Implement systems, best practices, and frameworks for scaling operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Track project and process performance for continuous improvement.

Innovation & Implementation

  • Introduce new tools, practices, and methodologies to support scalable growth.
  • Lead pilots and experiments to test new business models or approaches.
  • Foster a culture of efficiency, accountability, and evolution.


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in Business Development, Growth, Strategy, or Operations, ideally within startups.
  • Background in creative industries (content, media, branding, agencies, production, etc.).
  • A go-getter attitude with a strong ability to take initiative and drive momentum.
  • Natural problem-solving mindset with tactical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to break big goals into smaller, actionable day-to-day tasks and drive execution.
  • Strong leadership instincts — someone who knows how to motivate people, influence teams, and hold them accountable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and functions.
  • Someone who can act as the CEO’s right-hand, aligned with leadership priorities and capable of executing multiple growth strategies simultaneously.
  • Resourceful and proactive in identifying talent, partners, and tools needed to execute projects.
  • Open-minded, adaptable, and solution-driven in exploring new business models, ideas, and ways of growing the organisation.
