Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Specialist to join our team. The QC Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all video editing output meets the highest standards of quality. This individual will be responsible for reviewing and validating video content before it is delivered to clients, ensuring that it adheres to Editlobby’s guidelines and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality checks on all video content, ensuring that it meets company and client-specific standards.
• Review video and audio elements for technical accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Identify and resolve any issues related to video formats, file sizes, audio synchronization, color grading, and visual effects.
• Work closely with the editing team to ensure that edits align with the creative vision and technical requirements.
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to the editing team to enhance the quality of the final product.
• Perform regular audits on completed projects to ensure consistency and adherence to QC protocols.
• Develop and maintain detailed QC checklists and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any post-production technical issues.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in video editing and QC processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in quality control or video editing, preferably in a professional post-production environment.
• Strong understanding of video formats, resolution, codecs, and editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Knowledge of AI tools and automation processes in video editing is a plus.
• A degree or certification in film production, video editing, or a related field is preferred.
