About the role

We’re looking for a strategic, creative, and highly organized Personal Branding + Content Strategist to build, scale, and manage the personal brands of the Edit Lobby founders. This role is for someone who understands storytelling, expert positioning, authority-building content, and how to craft narratives that cut through the noise.

You will own end-to-end brand strategy — from defining positioning to writing scripts, planning content pipelines, and executing campaigns that elevate the founders as industry experts in creative production, video editing, and entrepreneurship.

Key responsibilities

Brand strategy & Positioning

• Develop clear, differentiated personal brand identities for each founder
• Craft expert positioning in the areas of video editing, agency building, leadership, and creative strategy
• Build foundational messaging frameworks, tone of voice, and content pillars
• Identify opportunities for authority-building: interviews, features, thought leadership, collaborations

Content strategy & Planning

• Build monthly and weekly content calendars across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok
• Create content ideas based on trends, insights, and market conversations
• Work closely with the Edit Lobby production team to ensure content is executed on time
• Monitor analytics and adjust strategy for maximum reach and engagement

Scriptwriting & Copywriting

• Write scripts for short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
• Create talking points, storytelling frameworks, and founder monologues
• Draft captions, hooks, and scroll-stopping headlines
• Create long-form content such as newsletters, LinkedIn posts, and expert articles

Expert marketing & Growth

• Turn founder knowledge and experience into powerful, teachable content
• Build expert ecosystems — mini series, frameworks, signature opinions, bold takes
• Optimize thought-leadership presence across platforms
• Conduct competitor analysis, industry insights, and market trends
