Job Description

Role Summary
  • The Business Development Executive (US Sales) will be responsible for driving new business and revenue growth by identifying, qualifying and advancing sales opportunities in the United States market. This role functions as a key part of the sales / go-to-market team, with a focus on prospecting, developing relationships with US-based clients, and managing the sales pipeline from lead generation through to handoff or closure.
Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities in the US market via outbound prospecting (cold-calls, email campaigns, social media/LinkedIn), inbound lead follow-up and networking.
  • Qualify prospects, understand their business needs, build value propositions for your product or service and schedule qualified meetings/demos with US-based decision makers.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities targeted at US clients, track all interactions in CRM tools, and provide accurate forecasting and reporting of sales activities and results.
  • Collaborate with internal teams marketing, product, delivery, solutions to craft proposal materials, presentations, offers and to ensure alignment between client requirements and solution delivery.
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets (number of qualified leads, meetings, pipeline value, closed deals) for the US region.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, competitive landscape in the US region to position your offerings effectively against competitors.
Required Skills
  • Proven experience

    3+ years

    in business development, sales or lead generation directed at the US market B2B or SaaS/IT services preferred.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills in English; ability to present confidently to US-based prospects and decision-makers.
  • Strong outbound sales skills: cold calling, email campaign management, LinkedIn prospecting, qualification of leads.
  • Knowledge of the IT services, SaaS, technology consulting and ability to speak to technical or business benefits.
  • Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales-enablement technology.
  • Target-driven mindset with ability to manage and priorities multiple prospects, follow ups, and consistently meet deadlines and quotas.
  • Marketing automation or lead-generation tool experience (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo).
  • Previous track record of achieving sales quotas or generating pipeline in US market.
