Job Description

Role & responsibilities

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving student admissions, promoting the school brand, and building strong relationships with parents and local communities. The role involves lead generation, marketing coordination, and customer engagement to ensure consistent growth and enhanced visibility for both the school and corporate daycare business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Admissions & Lead Management

  • Generate leads for new admissions through various channels including inquiries, referrals,

digital platforms,events, and walk-ins.

  • Follow up on leads promptly to maximize conversions.
  • Conduct school tours, counselling sessions, and parent interactions to showcase the

schools offerings.

  • Maintain updated records of inquiries and conversions using admission trackers.
  • Assist in identifying, sourcing, and shortlisting qualified teachers and support staff based on

operational needs.

2. Marketing and Branding

  • Plan and execute local marketing campaigns, events, and promotions to boost brand

awareness.

  • Coordinate with marketing teams for social media, print, and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Distribute promotional materials and ensure effective visibility in target areas.
  • Organize open houses, workshops, and community engagement activities.
  • Assist in event planning, annual day functions, and other school activities to support branding.

3. Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with parents to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals.
  • Handle inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist in parent meetings, school events, and other engagement initiatives.
  • Build partnerships with residential societies and local businesses for referral programs.

4. Reporting & Targets

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on lead generation, conversions, and marketing

activities.

  • Share insights and suggestions to improve admission performance and marketing effectiveness.
  • Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development (preferably in the

education or edtech sector).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Good understanding of local marketing and lead generation techniques.
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and social media marketing.
