As an E-Waste Sourcing Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing sources of electronic waste (e-waste) for recycling, refurbishment, or resale. Your role bridges procurement, compliance, and sustainability, ensuring that all sourcing activities align with environmental regulations and corporate responsibility goals.
- Source and secure e-waste from vendors, institutions, and collection partners across regions
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, recyclers, and logistics providers
- Ensure compliance with local and international e-waste handling regulations (e.g., WEEE, RoHS, Basel Convention)
- Build and maintain vendor relationships to ensure consistent supply and ethical practices
- Track and report on volumes, costs, and environmental impact metrics
- Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, legal, sustainability) to streamline operations
- Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and innovations in e-waste recycling and recovery
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3 to 10 years of experience in procurement, waste management, or recycling operations
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of e-waste categories, hazardous components, and recycling processes
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and documentation
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and reporting tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred Attributes
- Certifications in sustainability, waste management, or circular economy (e.g., ISWA, LEED)
- Experience working with NGOs, government agencies, or CSR initiatives
- Passion for environmental stewardship and circular supply chains.
