Position: Business Development Executive / Senior Executive / Manager

Company: Forward Life Pvt. Ltd.

Location: Hyderabad

Industry: Clinical Research Organization (CRO)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven and strategically minded Business Development Professional who can confidently represent our CRO services, build strong client partnerships, and accelerate company growth.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the CRO business model, proposal lifecycle, clinical operations workflow, and has a strong network within Pharma, Biotech, & Research sectors.

If you are passionate about closing deals, expanding markets, and building long-term scientific partnerships — this role is built for you.

Key Responsibilities :

1)Strategic Market Expansion:

Identify emerging markets in Clinical Trials, BA/BE Studies, Bioanalytical Services, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, Medical Writing etc.

Build a strong territory plan focusing on high-value accounts.

Research competitor activities and propose strategies to stay ahead.

2)High-Impact Client Acquisition:

Generate business from Domestic & International Pharma Companies, CROs, Biotech firms, and Healthcare

* R&D clients.

* Engage decision-makers:

* CEOs

* R&D Directors

* Regulatory Heads

* Clinical Operations Leads

* Outsourcing/Procurement Teams

* Deliver persuasive pitches and service presentations.

3) Relationship Management & Key Account Ownership:

* Maintain long-term, trusted relationships with clients for continuous business.

* Conduct regular follow-ups, business reviews, and performance meetings.

* Act as the primary point of contact for client queries, proposals, negotiations, and project onboarding.

4) Proposal, Bidding & Contracting:

Collaborate with technical teams to create accurate proposals for:

* Clinical Studies

* BA/BE Projects

* Clinical Trial Monitoring

* Regulatory Submissions

* PV & Medical Writing Services

* Prepare costings, commercial quotations, and contract drafts.

* Drive fast decision-making and closure.

5) Revenue Growth & Sales Ownership:

* Create monthly/quarterly revenue pipelines and achieve defined targets.

* Convert warm leads, cold outreach, conference meetings, and repeat clients into revenue.

* Maintain detailed sales reports, call logs, and conversion analytics.

6) Branding, Marketing & Global Outreach

* Represent the organization at global conferences, Pharma events, medical expos.

* Conduct email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, webinars, and strategic networking.

* Assist marketing in creating BD-focused collateral and case studies.

Required Skills & Competencies

i) Technical & Industry Knowledge

Deep understanding of:

* Clinical Trial workflow

* ICH-GCP guidelines

*Medical Writing

*Medical Devices

* Regulatory pathways

* Ability to explain services scientifically and commercially to clients.

ii)Sales & Communication Excellence:

* Strong negotiation skills with proven record in closing high-value deals.

* Excellent command over spoken & written English.

* Ability to create confidence and trust during client meetings.

iii) Personal Competencies:

* Target-driven and self-motivated.

* Strong analytical and strategic thinking.

* Confident, presentable, and proactive in new market penetration.

* Ability to travel (domestic & occasional international travel).

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s/Master’s in Life Sciences / Pharmacy / Biotechnology / Clinical Research.

* MBA in Marketing is an advantage

* 1–7 years experience in Business Development, ideally in CRO/Pharma/Bioanalytical industry.

Work Timings

* 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM

* Extended hours based on business requirements.
