Role Overview

The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The role involves market research, lead generation, client meetings, and working closely with the sales/marketing team to achieve business targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through various channels (cold calling, networking, email campaigns, social media, etc.).
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat and referral business.
  • Present company products/services to potential clients through meetings, demos, and presentations.
  • Understand client requirements and collaborate with internal teams to deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate deals to close sales.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and client interactions in CRM tools.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to promote business.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding market conditions and product improvements.


Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development (preferred).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and sales techniques is an advantage.
  • Ability to handle objections and close sales effectively.
