Position: Business Development Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Counsellor / Business Development Executive who can effectively combine career/academic counselling with business development activities. The ideal candidate will guide students/clients in making informed decisions, while also achieving enrollment and sales targets through proactive business development strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Counseling:

  • Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to students/clients.
  • Understand client needs and suggest appropriate courses, programs, or services.
  • Assist in career guidance, admissions process, and decision-making support.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups to ensure high conversion and retention rates.

Business Development:

  • Generate and manage leads through calls, walk-ins, and digital channels.
  • Achieve monthly enrollment/sales targets set by the management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Represent the organization in seminars, events, and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to drive outreach campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Psychology, HR, or related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in counselling, sales, or business development (freshers with strong communication skills may apply).
  • Ability to handle targets and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the education/training/consulting industry.
  • Knowledge of student admissions, career guidance, or client servicing.
  • Ability to conduct workshops, presentations, or webinars.
