Are you a driven, strategic business builder who thrives on identifying new opportunities, building client relationships from the ground up, and closing meaningful partnerships? Do you want to play a core role in scaling a real AI-powered tech platform that’s already delivering results worldwide?


We’re hiring a Founding Director – Business Development to lead client growth, partnerships, and strategic expansion efforts at SkillsCapital — a fast-scaling platform that helps global companies hire fully vetted, on-demand enterprise tech talent.


This is not a traditional BD role. You won’t be chasing transactional deals — you’ll be co-creating solutions with consulting firms, enterprises, and global hiring teams using our AI-Powered Talent Cloud. You’ll work closely with the founders, take full ownership of revenue generation in your region or vertical, and help shape the future of our go-to-market engine.

🧠 What You’ll Own

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with global clients, consulting firms, and strategic partners
  • Own end-to-end business development — from outreach and discovery to proposal, negotiation, and deal closure
  • Position our AI-powered platform as a scalable solution for enterprise tech hiring
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers across industries
  • Work closely with product, sourcing, and delivery teams to align solutions with client needs
  • Lead GTM experiments across industries, geographies, and solution verticals
  • Help build a predictable, repeatable BD motion that can scale globally


✅ Who Should Apply

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or client-facing roles in B2B tech, enterprise consulting, or IT staffing
  • Strong understanding of how to build client relationships, structure enterprise solutions, and close complex deals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic thinker who can act independently, yet collaborate deeply across teams
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-accountability startup environments
  • Bonus: exposure to enterprise software, consulting, or global talent delivery models


💰 Compensation

  • Minimal base salary to start
  • Highly attractive incentive structure based on revenue contribution
  • Significant equity opportunity for long-term wealth creation
  • For top performers, total earnings can range from INR 1L to 10L+ per month, depending on performance
  • This is not a role for someone expecting a high starting salary without results or ownership
