Business Development Associate

Role Overview

The Business Development Associate will be responsible for promoting our solar products & services, generating leads, meeting clients, closing sales, and supporting our mission to deliver clean and cost-effective energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate leads through field visits, digital campaigns, and local networking.
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers (residential, commercial, industrial).
• Meet consumers to understand their energy needs and propose suitable solar solutions.
• Explain system sizing, government subsidies, installation process, and financial benefits.
• Coordinate with technical teams to prepare quotations and site assessments.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and expand the company’s market presence.
• Maintain follow-up with customers until project completion.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on marketing activities and conversions.
• Represent the brand professionally at promotional events and customer meetings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Any degree (MBA/Engineering/Electrical degree is an advantage but not mandatory).
• 1–3 years of experience in Solar, Marketing, or Business Development preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and handle objections confidently.
• Basic understanding of solar systems (On-Grid, Off-Grid, Hybrid) is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office, WhatsApp Business, and basic CRM usage.
• Willingness to travel locally for client visits.
• Two-wheeler and a valid driving license preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month
