Business Associate

A Business Associate for an Edtech platform is typically responsible for driving business growth, which primarily involves lead generation, sales, and building client or institutional relationships. The role requires a mix of sales expertise, market research skills, and strong communication abilities. Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe specific duties of a Business Associate can vary, but generally include:

• Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identifying and researching potential clients or educational institutions using online channels, CRM tools (like Salesforce or HubSpot), and market analysis.
• Sales and Enrollment: Conducting calls or presentations (demos) to prospective students or institutional partners, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the enrollment or sales process to achieve monthly targets.
• Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, clients, or channel partners to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business/referrals.
• Market Research & Strategy: Monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business strategies and product development teams.
• Sales Support & Operations: Assisting senior management with day-to-day business activities, preparing proposals, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth client onboarding.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is often preferred.
• Experience: Relevant experience in sales, business development, or academic counseling, particularly within the EdTech sector, is highly advantageous.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for client interactions and presentations.
