Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst in our company, your role will involve: - Analyzing and documenting requirements for large-scale projects, including Fortune 500 or equivalent projects. - Demonstrating expertise in functional decomposition techniques such as user stories and traceability matrices. - Presenting solution alternatives to clients that align with their business requirements. - Handling ambiguous situations effectively and devising practical plans to achieve clarity, while independently defining functional behavior, business rules, and data attributes. - Collaborating in a globally distributed team model. - Working closely with business stakeholders or sponsors to translate business needs into business and functional requirements. - Eliciting requirements through various methods such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, and more. - Breaking down high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements or user stories. - Representing requirements using visual analysis models, prototypes, or simulations where necessary. - Leading requirements validation activities to ensure the solution meets customer needs and business objectives. - Facilitating ongoing requirements prioritization. - Establishing and implementing effective requirements practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of the requirements process. - Assisting in developing the organization's requirements engineering policies, procedures, and tools. - Identifying opportunities to support product management in product planning through requirements development and analysis. - Conducting research and strategic feasibility studies for clients. - Traveling to client sites as required. Qualifications required for this role include: - MBA with 3+ years of experience or 5+ years of Corporate Experience in relevant roles. - Minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on involvement in eCommerce projects. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Analyst role. - 5 years of experience in IT or eBusiness, including e-commerce, web application development, or other eBusiness solutions. - Familiarity with a broad array of internet technologies and trends. - Experience in problem resolution with IT systems and individuals. - Strong facilitation and communication skills across business and technical audiences. - Experience with enterprise-class eCommerce platforms. - Familiarity with Agile development processes and writing effective user stories. - Knowledge of multiple vertical industries such as retail, financial services, CPG, and healthcare is a plus.,
