Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst in our company, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and documenting requirements for large-scale projects, including Fortune 500 equivalents. Your responsibilities will include: - Expertise in functional decomposition using techniques like user stories and traceability matrices. - Presenting solution alternatives to clients that align with their business requirements. - Handling ambiguous situations effectively and devising practical plans for achieving clarity in defining functional behavior, business rules, and data attributes independently. - Collaborating with a globally distributed team model. - Working closely with business stakeholders to translate their needs into business and functional requirements. - Utilizing various techniques such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, and more to elicit requirements. - Decomposing high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements or user stories. - Representing requirements using visual analysis models, prototypes, or simulations when necessary. - Leading requirements validation activities to ensure that solutions meet customer needs and business objectives. - Facilitating ongoing requirements prioritization and implementing effective requirements practices. - Identifying opportunities to assist product management in product planning through requirements development and proposing new product features and updates. - Conducting research and analysis on the viability of requirements and strategic feasibility studies for clients. - Traveling to client sites as required. Qualifications required for this role include: - MBA with 3+ years of experience or 5+ years of Corporate Experience in relevant roles. - Minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on involvement in eCommerce projects. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Analyst role. - 5 years of experience in IT or eBusiness, including eCommerce, web application development, or other eBusiness solutions. - Familiarity with a variety of internet technologies and trends. - Experience in problem resolution with IT systems and individuals. - Strong facilitation and communication skills across business and technical audiences. - Experience with enterprise-class eCommerce platforms. - Familiarity with Agile development processes and the ability to quickly write effective user stories. Additionally, knowledge of multiple vertical industries such as retail, financial services, CPG, and healthcare would be a plus.,
