Job Title: Business Analyst – P&C Insurance (Mid to Senior Level)

Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract – 6+ Months

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to analyze existing processes, define business requirements, design future-state workflows, and support transformation initiatives — including opportunities to leverage AI/ML for process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements across Underwriting, Policy Administration, Claims Management, and Billing & Payments.
  • Conduct as-is and to-be process analysis and develop detailed documentation (L1 and L2 process maps).
  • Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment on requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and AI/ML adoption to improve business efficiency and customer experience.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions with SMEs and stakeholders.
  • Support solution design, testing, and validation activities.
  • Provide domain expertise and consultative support throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 7–12 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the P&C Insurance domain.
  • In-depth knowledge of Underwriting, Policy Administration, Claims, Billing, and Payments.
  • Proven experience in requirement gathering, business process modeling, and documentation (L1 & L2).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in Agile environments and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML in business process reengineering (nice to have).

Good to Have

  • Experience with tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or ARIS for process documentation.
  • Exposure to policy administration systems, claims platforms, and billing applications.
  • Prior experience in digital transformation or process modernization projects.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹895,271.24 - ₹1,433,079.22 per year
