Job Description

Role Overview

The Manager – Business Analytics & Marketing will play a key role in driving data-based decision-making, supporting strategic business planning, and enhancing brand presence. The person will work closely with sales, finance, digital marketing, and leadership teams to produce deep analytics, dashboards, competitive benchmarking, and customer insights, while also managing campaign execution and marketing automation.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analytics & Insights

  • Develop dashboards and reporting systems for sales performance, forecasting, pricing, margins, customer segmentation, and distributor insights
  • Analyze zone-wise and sector-wise business performance, product mix, funnel conversion, and sales productivity
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and market intelligence across key product categories and regions
  • Plan and execute monthly business analysis reviews with sales team and management with insights and action recommendations
  • Create ROI measurement frameworks for marketing and trade-marketing investments

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Collaborate on brand storytelling, content strategy, events, product promotions, and industry campaigns
  • Oversee LinkedIn / digital content performance tracking and improve conversion metrics
  • Support the execution of technical seminars, distributor programs, and expos (INTEC, Paperex, etc.)
  • Design technical literature, case studies, and product launch plans
  • Manage CRM & marketing automation workflows (Zoho Suite)
  • Track organic & paid campaign performance, suggest optimization

Systems & Tools

  • Build dashboards & automation in Zoho CRM, Zoho Analytics, Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar
  • Use data models to improve sales forecasting & performance review frameworks
  • Enable data transparency and cross-department alignment

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5–10 years experience

    in business analytics, strategy, marketing intelligence, or category management (preferably in

    B2B / industrial / manufacturing / chemical sectors

    )
  • Strong analytical skills

    with expertise in:
    • Excel / Google Sheets (

      advanced

      )
    • BI tools (Zoho Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
    • CRM platforms (Zoho preferred)
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and growth initiatives
  • Strong

    business storytelling & presentation skills

  • Ability to convert data into

    actionable decisions

    and management dashboards
  • Exposure to industrial B2B marketing or technical product marketing preferred
  • A self-starter comfortable in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
