Business Analyst

As a Senior Officer - Business Analyst in the Data Governance Domain at Mizuho Global Services Pvt Ltd, you will have the opportunity to be part of a subsidiary company of Mizuho Bank, Ltd, one of the largest banks in Japan. Mizuho Global Services was established in 2020 as a global processing center for handling banking and IT operations for Mizuho Banks domestic and overseas offices and group companies worldwide. **Key Responsibilities:** - Visualize and analyze data source systems for internal and external reporting. - Ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting compliance in line with local and cross-border requirements. - Implement and maintain data governance frameworks across corporate banking platforms. - Gather and document business requirements for data sourcing, transformation, and reporting. - Collaborate with India operations and APAC stakeholders for data governance and reporting alignment. - Define and monitor data quality rules, perform root cause analysis, and drive remediation efforts. - Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and evidence of compliance with data policies. - Leverage tools such as Power BI, SQL, Tableau, and Excel for governance and reporting automation. - Act as a liaison between compliance, finance, IT, and operations teams to ensure alignment on data and reporting objectives. **Role-Specific Duties:** - Support daily tasks assigned, including documentation and reporting. - Assist in translating requirements into actionable solutions. **Required Skills/Experiences/Personalities:** - Experience in corporate banking industry focusing on regulatory reporting and data governance in India and APAC. - Strong understanding of regional regulatory frameworks. - Proficiency in SQL, MS Access, Excel Macro, UiPath RPA, and data visualization tools. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Strong business analysis skills with experience in creating business requirements documents. - Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality requirement documentation. - Understanding of downstream data flows for report creation. - Experience in project implementation and utilization of AI technologies. - Willingness to travel within the APAC region. **Qualification:** - A master's degree in science, finance, or business is preferred. **Experience:** - Total Experience: 3-8 years - Minimum of 3 years in business analysis - Minimum of 4 years in corporate banking - Experience in information systems, data governance, regulatory reporting, SQL queries, data visualization, and data analysis.
