Role Overview: You are being offered a unique opportunity to join Apple's Central Sales & Distribution team in Gurgaon as a Business Analyst with a focus on the iPhone Line of Business (LOB). In this role, you will play a crucial part in the India Sales Org, reporting to the iPhone Business Manager (BM) and collaborating closely with various route-to-markets (RTMs) and channels, as well as functions like Affordability and Finance. Your responsibilities will involve strategic and tactical analytical work to support the iPhone business and facilitate communication between different business partners. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality analytics through well-architected reporting to enhance the review of iPhone business performance for Sales leadership. - Create dashboards, templates, and reports for data analysis and presentation, providing an end-to-end view of the iPhone business. - Correlate data to outcomes, generate qualitative business insights, and inferences for agile decision-making. - Assess impacts and risks, prepare materials for Exec/Sales Leadership reviews, and follow up on key actions. - Collaborate with leaders across functions to consolidate data needs for strategic deep dives into the business. - Synthesize structured and unstructured data on market share, channels, partners, and opportunities for growth. - Develop templates and analytics for different business proposals, track performance, and provide insights for future proposals. - Guide and lead analyses, investigations, and experimentation efforts across cross-functional teams. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of experience in roles related to Strategy/Business Analytics. - Proficient in Excel for managing and analyzing large datasets. - Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau for analysis, insight synthesis, and executive presentations. - Ability to analyze analyst/research reports and derive actionable insights for the business. - Experience in creating and delivering presentations to Executive/Sales leadership. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with an MBA from a reputable institute. - Strong influencing skills cross-functionally within and outside Apple. - Business and Commercial acumen, problem-solving abilities using first-principles. - Successful track record in managing multiple activities/projects in a dynamic, results-driven environment. - Understanding of consumer product retailing and distribution channels landscape will be advantageous. - Commitment to excellence and the highest levels of integrity, honesty, and accountability in all endeavors.
