Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Business Analyst at Zinnia, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your role will involve defining project requirements, implementing process improvements, managing risks, and ensuring projects meet customer expectations in terms of budget, quality, and timelines. You will work with senior stakeholders to facilitate decision-making, lead business analysis activities, and continuously improve processes within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the initial project scope and analysis activities. - Lead/Facilitate detailed Solution Definition meetings to drive to a holistic solution. - Facilitate solution planning sessions to ensure efficient use of time and internal alignment. - Incorporate knowledge of the existing client implementation and business offerings for scoping sessions. - Act as the voice of the customer to translate business objectives into approaches prescribed by Zinnia. - Ensure solutions adhere to Zinnia IT framework, architectural strategic direction, and support clients' business objectives. - Provide thought equity to identify new and innovative business analysis tools and techniques. - Assist in identifying scope changes and disseminating information to the Delivery Team. - Support internal and external project requests through the estimation process. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience. - 4-6 years of experience in business and/or systems analysis preferred. - Knowledge and experience working in the insurance industry and company framework. - Strong knowledge of techniques necessary for planning and requirements/analysis phases of the SDLC. - Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, with knowledge of Project Management tools. - Proficiency in Jira for task and project tracking, managing sprint cycles, and reporting. - Strong project management, relationship building, and analytical skills. - Excellent oral/written communication and relationship management skills. - Ability to work as part of a cross-functional, global team.
