Business Analyst III

As a Business Analyst at iQor, your role will involve independently conducting business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses of complex initiatives. Here are the key responsibilities you will be expected to fulfill: - Conduct inquiries to develop new information or systems requirements aligning with business objectives. - Develop functional specifications for internal/external customer requirements for application development, enhancements, and testing. - Analyze customer requirements, procedures, and problems to enhance existing systems. - Prepare functional, systems, and program specifications. - Develop project plans, implementation schedules, and review accuracy and completeness of others" plans. - Collaborate with functional organizations to determine requirements. - Maintain and develop documentation for the responsible area. - Stay updated on emerging technologies and lead in implementing them to meet business requirements. - Provide status updates of assigned projects through formal presentations. - Recommend and oversee customer training. - Act as an escalation point for troubleshooting issues and coordinate with technical personnel for resolution. - Maintain positive relations with employees, customers, and vendors. - Ensure adherence to IT and department policies, processes, and procedures. - Assist in leading and participating in the exchange of ideas and information within the department. - Perform any other duties as assigned. To succeed in this role, you will need: - 6 or more years of work experience in a related position. - Thorough knowledge and field experience in emerging technologies. - Strong communications and customer service skills. - Ability to interpret and present information effectively. - Proficiency in using personal computers, Microsoft Office products, and email. Education Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree, First Degree, Trade/Vocational School certificate, or Equivalent required. - Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred. Physical Requirements: - Occasionally exert up to 10 lbs. of force. - Visual acuity for preparing and analyzing data. - Typing and/or sitting for extended periods. - Consistent attendance is essential.
