Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Document prospective member journeys, including marketing nurtures, sales outreach, moments that matter,” and end-to-end lead flows across systems (Lead, Contact, Opportunity, Account, Campaign, Event), capturing the rationale (“why”) behind current processes, key gaps, and issues.
  
• Gather and validate business requirements from stakeholders across marketing, sales, and related functions. Define future state requirements to address business needs and pain points.
  
• Produce user stories, process maps, and clear requirements for implementation, ensuring traceability from objectives to outcomes.
  
• Assess processes, data capture, data flows, and governance (process, quality, ownership) for lead creation, routing, nurture, handover, outreach, conversion, and close – including a form audit.
  
• Review current data, segmentation, reporting/analytics models, and communication/preference management to assess suitability for future state.
  
• Build a CE–Marketo data dictionary that captured field purpose and definition.
  
• Identify high-impact, low-effort improvements and ensure alignment with related workstreams, including CE–Marketo stabilisation.
  
• Support development of a prioritised roadmap with resource estimates.
  

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in marketing, sales, or customer data-focused projects.
  
• Strong process mapping, documentation, and analysis skills.
  
• Experience with lead management processes and CRM/marketing automation platforms (preferably Microsoft Dynamics CE and Adobe Marketo).
  
• Ability to assess and document complex data, segmentation, and reporting models.
  
• Skilled at facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  
• Strong ability to prioritise initiatives based on business value, dependencies, and feasibility.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex processes into clear, actionable deliverables.
  
• Experienced in Agile development practices, with proficiency in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
