Job
Description
As a Conga CPQ Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between business stakeholders and technical teams by translating business processes into scalable CPQ solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the functional design and delivery of the Conga CPQ platform, ensuring that it aligns with overall business objectives, product structures, pricing rules, and integrates seamlessly with ERP systems. You will take ownership of the CPQ functional aspects by leading and overseeing the implementation and enhancement of Conga CPQ and Conga CLM solutions. This will involve developing and optimizing product configuration logic, pricing structures, and discounting workflows, as well as designing and maintaining complex product catalogs, option constraints, pricing rules, quote templates, and approval workflows. A significant part of your role will involve engaging in business analysis activities and collaborating with stakeholders. You will be responsible for gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements related to the quote-to-cash lifecycle, product management, pricing strategies, and contract lifecycle. Your ability to translate high-level business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications, including user stories, process maps, and data models, will be crucial for the success of the projects. In an agile delivery environment, you will author and maintain high-quality user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria, participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming, and drive system validation, regression testing, and documentation of solution architecture and process flows. You will also be involved in testing and UAT coordination, where you will design, execute, and manage test plans and test cases for unit, system, and user acceptance testing. Collaboration with QA teams and business stakeholders to validate functional workflows and resolve defects will be essential. Additionally, ensuring traceability between business requirements, test cases, and solution delivery will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Collaboration with ERP functional teams, such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, etc., will be necessary for seamless integration between CPQ and downstream order, pricing, and fulfillment modules. Supporting data mapping, transformation logic, and interface validations between CPQ and ERP systems will be part of your ERP integration support responsibilities. Your role will also involve client interaction and communication, where you will act as the primary functional contact for clients and internal teams for all CPQ-related requirements. Leading business review sessions, presenting solution walkthroughs, and effectively managing stakeholder expectations will be critical. Providing post-deployment support and recommending continuous improvements will also be part of your responsibilities. For this role, you must have 3-5 years of focused experience in Conga CPQ and/or Conga CLM in a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant role. A strong understanding of CPQ concepts, experience working with ERP systems, proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar, and excellent skills in stakeholder engagement, communication, requirement elicitation, and business process modeling are essential. Preferred qualifications include being a Certified Conga CPQ Business Analyst or Functional Consultant, exposure to the Salesforce ecosystem and its integration with Conga CPQ, familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and data integration practices between CPQ and ERP platforms, and an understanding of revenue recognition, pricing compliance, and legal contract workflows.,
