Your Role And Responsibilities
Your mission as Brand Technical Specialist is to engage your clients with an opinionated point of view as an IBM Technologist, practitioner and brand specialty solution expert. Your deep knowledge and experience with IBM Platforms and Products along with a deep understanding of competitive advantage places you in a unique position of influence and value for your clients’. As a practitioner, you will show and prove how IBM's technology addresses client needs and delivers value. You will work with other IBMers to identify opportunities, remove technical inhibitors and progress technical sales resulting in client success and IBM Hybrid Cloud & AI business growth.Accountability for Business Development, Opportunity Progression & Deployment and Managing growth

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Pre-sales technical support: Provide in-depth technical and product expertise to clients, prospects, and the IBM sales team across Full stack observability solutions including Enterprise wide Observability; Infra, Apps, Network Performance Management; IT Resource Optimization, Application Risk & Resiliency Management; FinOps & IT Financial Management. DevOps background will be helpful as well.
- Client engagement: Work directly with clients to understand their 'said' and 'unsaid' business and technical requirements through discovery, assessments, architecture discussions, demonstrations & POCs/POVs. Respond to RFPs ensuring technical wins.
- Build Proactive POVs: Be an expert in IT Automation space including being aware of industry tech trends and drivers; Have a clear Point-of-view on IT Automation as an evolving space to share with customers, partners and larger industry.
- Solution development as a Trusted Advisor: Shape Thinking with best practices and Design as well as Present customized solutions using IBM's IT automation tools to address client needs and demonstrate the value of the products.
- Technical accuracy: Ensure the proposed solution is technically accurate and feasible for the client's specific environment.
- Collaboration & Orchestration: Pull in other SMEs within IBM ecosystem or partners, as needed to support complex client situations; Orchestrate IBM global and ISA stakeholders/ecosystems to serve client need.
- Relationship building: Develop strong trusted Tech relationships with client's Tech stakeholders by earning their trust and showing value around how IBM's solutions can solve their problems.
