Job Overview:
Zymo Cosmetics is stepping into the spotlight with its own D2C personal care brand, backed by years of contract manufacturing excellence. We re seeking a strategic and creative Marketing & E-commerce Lead to spearhead this new journey someone who understands brand storytelling, data-driven marketing, and the nuances of both online and offline retail.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Customer Pain point Mapping : identify brand strengths and align them with customer needs (delivery, packaging, product experience, etc.).
  • Target Audience Definition: define and validate target audience through customer interactions and behavioural insights.
  • Data-Driven Marketing Execution: drive marketing decisions based on performance data (LTV, CRO, bounce rates) and actionable analytics.
  • Opportunity Identification: research promotional and placement opportunities across e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart, marketplaces, etc.) and suggest channel improvements.
  • Competitor & SWOT Analysis: conduct ongoing SWOT analysis for the brand and competitors to recommend packaging or product enhancements.
  • Agency & Planning Coordination: work closely with agencies to define quarterly marketing roadmaps and ensure alignment with internal teams.
  • Creative Collaboration: encourage team participation in marketing ideation and foster innovative, results-driven campaigns.
  • Team Building and Talent Identification: build and mentor marketing team, including involvement in hiring and onboarding new talent as the team scales.885
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in brand marketing (personal care/cosmetics preferred).
  • Strong analytical and strategic mindset with a focus on execution.
  • Hands-on experience with D2C and e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart, etc.).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Innovative thinker comfortable with data-driven decision-making and creative marketing approaches.
