Brand & Communications Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a Brand & Communications Manager who can craft and amplify GreenStitch's voice in the sustainability and fashion ecosystem.

This is a strategic yet hands-on role ideal for someone who loves translating technical sustainability topics into engaging stories, building brand authority, and leading content initiatives across multiple channels.

You will own GreenStitch's content, communications, and thought leadership agenda, from social media and blogs to industry collaborations and white papers, positioning GreenStitch as a trusted voice in climate innovation for fashion.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape and articulate GreenStitch's brand narrative, ensuring consistency across all channels and communications.
• Develop brand messaging frameworks around sustainability, technology, and impact storytelling.
• Craft compelling copy for website, presentations, and campaigns.
• Lead GreenStitch's content calendar across social media, blogs, newsletters, and industry platforms.
• Write and edit high-quality content, including blogs, white papers, opinion pieces, and case studies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to transform technical sustainability insights into engaging, accessible stories.
• Drive SEO and content performance to grow brand reach organically.
• Represent GreenStitch in thought leadership forums, sustainability networks, and media collaborations.
• Partner with industry bodies, academia, and sustainability platforms to co-create research or reports.
• Develop industry reports, event summaries, and media features that elevate GreenStitch's leadership in sustainable fashion.
• Support public relations and media outreach with relevant messaging and data-driven narratives.
• Design and execute social media campaigns aligned with product launches, events, and sustainability days.
• Track campaign performance and engagement metrics to continuously optimise reach and impact.
• Work closely with design & product teams and external vendors to ensure storytelling aligns with GreenStitch's brand aesthetics and mission.

Qualifications

Required:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in content marketing, communications, or sustainability storytelling, ideally in fashion, textile, SaaS, or ESG domains.
• Proven ability to write clear, impactful, and technically sound content on sustainability and climate topics.
• Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks (ESG, LCA, Net Zero, SDGs) and the fashion industry context.
• Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, startup environments.

Preferred:

• Experience managing social media, blogs, and content calendars for B2B or mission-led brands.
• Experience in building brand voice and thought leadership for early-stage startups.
• Exposure to PR, event partnerships, or industry collaborations.
• Degree in Communications, Sustainability, Fashion Management, Environmental Studies, or Marketing.
