Branch Operations Manager

Role Overview: As a Retail Banking Officer at Standard Chartered in Hyderabad, IN, you will be responsible for approving daily transactions for selected products, managing service delivery, monitoring customer satisfaction ratings, and ensuring general reconciliation and compliance activities. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with policies and procedures related to ORMA, Group Code of Conduct, KYC/CDD/EDD, and Money laundering prevention. Additionally, you will be responsible for staff supervision, coaching, and training, achieving high employee engagement, contributing to branch performance, and monitoring transaction volumes. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to ORMA, Group Code of Conduct, KYC/CDD/EDD, and Money laundering prevention - Supervise staff, organize workflow/breaks, provide coaching/training for improved performance - Identify prospects for cross-selling, achieve high employee engagement, and contribute to branch performance through referrals and efficient customer service - Monitor transaction volumes and ensure effective transaction migration to alternate banking channels - Ensure premises management, health, and safety guidelines are followed - Manage the archival portfolio for the branch and maintain MIS with regard to documents archived Qualifications: - Graduate/Post Graduate - 1-4 years of overall experience - Banking knowledge with an understanding of front and back office processes and procedures - Good Interpersonal Skills - Strong Communication Skills - Team-playing ability - Customer Orientation and sales Focus Additional Details: Standard Chartered is an international bank with a purpose to drive commerce and prosperity through unique diversity.
