Branch Operations Manager

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations ensuring smooth functioning and compliance with bank policies, audit standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Authorize and verify system inputs for customer transactions and service requests (SO/SDO/RO).
• Manage branch lobby and customer queues to enhance service delivery and customer experience.
• Handle cash operations including foreign exchange and travelers cheques within prescribed limits.
• Ensure AML and KYC compliance for all account opening forms submitted to CPC/RPC.
• Monitor branch performance metrics and implement strategies for operational efficiency.
• Address and resolve customer complaints within defined turnaround times (TAT).
• Coordinate with internal teams for seamless processing of transactions and service requests.
• Maintain safety and security of branch assets and adherence to risk management guidelines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Graduate/Postgraduate with 3 - 8 years of experience in branch banking operations.
• Strong understanding of banking processes, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills to motivate front-office staff.
• Customer service orientation with ability to resolve queries promptly.
• Proficiency in operational systems and regulatory norms (AML/KYC).
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage cash operations and ensure adherence to prescribed limits.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interaction.
